USK Budget for 2022 Adopted

(Patria) - At an extraordinary online session of the Una-Sana Canton Assembly today, the Una-Sana Canton budget for 2022 was adopted under urgent procedure. A majority of the 16 required representatives voted for the budget. This created the conditions for unblocking the canton, i.e., payment of salaries, grants, and other transfers, which had been pending due to the non-adoption of the budget and the temporary financing decision.

The budget amounts to approximately 281.7 million KM and is about 5.3 million KM higher compared to the initial proposal from two months ago, which was not adopted.

From April, the base salaries for employees in education, police, and administration will increase.

Representatives also approved the Financial Plan of the Una-Sana Canton Health Insurance Fund for this year, which is crucial for payments to healthcare workers, and the Financial Plan of the Una-Sana Canton Employment Service for 2022 was adopted.
