Sarajevo Canton Budget Adopted at 769 Million KM

After five hours of debate, the Assembly of Sarajevo Canton adopted the CS Budget for 2018 in the amount of 769,080,000 KM with 21 votes in favor and nine against.

According to the Government, the budget is developmental and social, and funds have been distributed evenly among budget users, sectors, and ministries.

The largest portion of funds is directed towards capital projects for the reconstruction and maintenance of the tram line, construction and reconstruction of intersections in CS, as well as the intersection at the Vogošća loop.

CS Prime Minister Elmedin Konaković emphasized that this is the best budget ever adopted, the most capital-intensive, with 144 million KM allocated for capital investments.
