Successful conclusion of the operation to assist a soldier on Čvrsnica

(Patria) Rescuers and doctors of GSS in BiH, with the help of rescuers from the Croatian Mountain Rescue Service (HGSS) and private snowmobile owners, set off at 11:45 towards the Pločno summit to assist a member of the BiH Armed Forces who requires urgent medical assistance and evacuation.

The operation involves 15 rescuers from 4 GSS in BiH rescue services: HGSS Mostar, HGSS Posušje, GSS Široki Brijeg, and GSS Srebrenik, as well as the Croatian Mountain Rescue Service. The operation is led by Filip Bago, head of HGSS Posušje.

At 14:45, rescuers managed to reach the facility on Pločno, provide medical assistance, and organize transport to the foot of the mountain.

At 16:50, the soldier, in stable condition, was handed over to an ambulance for transport to Mostar.

At 16:30, members of FUCZ arrived in Konjsko, who will transport the replacement soldier to the Pločno facility by snowmobile.
