(Patria) - The video by BiH blogger and travel writer Robert Dacešin titled "Why Bosnia and Herzegovina Can Be the Number 1 Tourist Destination in the World" won first place at a competition conducted by the International Committee of Tourism Film. It was also declared the best tourist video in the world by viewer votes, Dacešin announced today.
"The video received 56,914 votes from 74 countries, which is the highest in the history of this competition. The official award ceremony will be on 24.11. in Valencia, Spain, and I will proudly represent my country there. Maybe I wasn't good enough in tennis to go to the Olympics, but when it comes to tourism, this is the Olympics of its kind, and Bosnia and Herzegovina is now on the highest podium," Dacešin wrote, with heartfelt thanks to everyone who supported him.
In the video published on his YouTube channel in January this year, Dacešin presented the natural and tourist beauties of BiH in 12 minutes.
