Management Board approves ITA budget for next year in the amount of 109.6 million KM

The Management Board of the Indirect Taxation Authority (ITA) of Bosnia and Herzegovina at today's session approved the Authority's budget for 2016 in the amount of 109.6 million KM, the Patria news agency reports.

Chairman of the ITA Management Board and Minister of Finance and Treasury of BiH Vjekoslav Bevanda explained that the budget for the Authority was conditionally included in the budget of BiH institutions, pending the opinion of the Management Board members, in order to meet the deadlines for adopting the state budget by the end of the year.

At the session, it was emphasized that the budget calendar will be strictly adhered to in the future, and that, at the same time, it is necessary to ensure sufficient funds for the work of the ITA, as one of the most important institutions in BiH, which performs complex tasks.

The Management Board did not comment today on the Draft Decision on establishing conditions for the customs terminal, proposed by the ITA, until all received remarks are considered in order to resolve this issue in the most efficient manner.

The Management Board instructed the Authority to correct the draft of this decision and incorporate the received remarks submitted by the Management Board members from among the experts. The ITA Management Board today adopted the Decision on the Smart card package, which relates to electronic operations.
