Warning to citizens: Do not fall for scams from numbers 070340355 and 062160271

Aida Feraget from Sarajevo warned citizens via her Facebook profile not to fall for the latest scams, writes the Patria News Agency.

Feraget wrote that she received a phone call yesterday from number 070340355, and that the callers introduced themselves as representatives of the company Vitalis.

-They are opening a branch and the number was drawn by random sample in a prize game (they even knew the address and the floor we live on)!!! The prize is a gift package worth 220 KM, and the recipient pays 30 KM for express mail... hmm The package is coming from Serbia???

This morning I received a phone call from number 062160271 where someone introduced themselves as express mail and said they would be at my address in 20 minutes.

I told them I was at work and would let them know when I could. When asked which express mail service it was, I received the answer GLS (the mentioned postal service does not operate in Bosnia and Herzegovina - I checked). A call in the afternoon, and the package is already in Sarajevo at 8:00 AM the next day???

I also called the Vitalis branch in Banja Luka, and the people there told me that cheated citizens call them every day and that Vitalis has nothing to do with these calls.

They didn't scam me because I don't fall for these things. 30 KM is a lot for a pensioner, and they need medication and supposed belts, so I appeal to you to warn everyone around you because if the news spreads, fewer people will be scammed. When you receive such calls, check before you give them money, Feraget wrote.
