FBiH Employers' Association with Vranić: Companies to Register Interested Workers for Immunization

SARAJevo, (Patria) - At the initiative of the FBiH Employers' Association, the leadership of UPFBiH held a meeting with the Minister of Health of KS and the President of the Crisis Staff of the Ministry of Health of KS Haris Vranić, where the introduction of the immunization process for employees within company premises in the Sarajevo Canton was agreed upon, in cooperation with UPFBiH and the Ministry of Health of KS.

In order to protect the lives and health of employees, enable normal work flows and the continuity of economic activities, the FBiH Employers' Association proposed this system to speed up the immunization process.

The Ministry of Health of KS supported this initiative, and the FBiH Employers' Association invited its members to register the number of workers interested in immunization by the end of the working week, so that it can be carried out next week. All business entities that are unable to submit registration for immunization by the end of the current week can do so from Monday, August 30, 2021, and the immunization process in those companies will start later, i.e., during the following week.

AstraZeneca and Sinopharm vaccines will be available to workers. The Ministry of Health of KS emphasizes that Pfizer vaccines will not be available at this moment as they are reserved for the start of student immunization.

The FBiH Employers' Association has sent letters to other cantonal health ministers and crisis staffs to carry out the same activity in other cantons and improve the immunization process.
