UN did not adopt Draft Resolution, Palestine will continue to bleed

The United Nations Security Council on Tuesday evening did not accept the draft resolution that was supposed to lead to Israel's withdrawal from occupied Palestinian territory within the next three years, as well as the formation of an independent Palestinian state with East Jerusalem as its capital. Experts had previously warned that the Draft Resolution would not be adopted because the United States of America (USA) strongly opposed it, reports the BiH news agency Patria.

For the Draft Resolution on Palestine to be adopted, it needed the support of nine countries. France, Jordan, Chile, Argentina, Chad, Luxembourg, China, and Russia supported Palestine, while the United States of America (USA) and Australia voted against it. Five countries abstained. These were Great Britain, Lithuania, Nigeria, South Korea, and Rwanda.

Israel occupied Palestinian territory more than 60 years ago, and since then, constant aggression has been ongoing against this small country in the east, in which hundreds of thousands of Palestinians have been killed and expelled to date. All of this is happening before the eyes of the whole world, which gives only formal support to the Palestinians, while doing almost nothing to stop the killing of people in Palestine, reports NAP.
