NEUM, (Patria) - Jurinko Rajič, Director of the Neum Animated Film Festival (NAFF), who began his film career as an animator at Croatia film, passed away on Saturday, the Association of Filmmakers announced.
Rajič was born in 1954 in Čapljina. He graduated from the Faculty of Civil Engineering in Zagreb, and began his film career as an animator in 1985 at 'Croatia film' in Zagreb.
He worked on Croatia film's feature-length projects 'The Wonderful Forest', 'The Wizard's Hat', 'The Remarkable Adventures of Apprentice Hlapić', where he worked on layout and animation.
He is the author of the animated films "Linđo", "Our Business", "My Little Bay", "Mostar Flyers".
He is the founder and director of NAFF, the animated film festival in Neum, which has been one of the most important animated film festivals in BiH and the region for 14 years. In one of his last interviews given to the Patria news agency, he spoke precisely about NAFF's successes.
