Art Gallery of BiH: Danis Fejzić's Graphic Exhibition for One Night Only

A new solo graphic exhibition by Mr. Danis Fejzić, "Ikonografika (Night in the Gallery)", will open on Monday, February 8th at 7 PM at the Art Gallery of BiH. Visitors will have a unique opportunity to visit the exhibition exclusively at the opening, as the exhibition will also close the same night. The artist will also hold a performance alongside the exhibition, emphasizing the temporal dimension of this exhibition, it was announced by the Art Gallery of BiH, reports the Patria News Agency.

Dr. Siniša Vidaković wrote about Fejzić's cycle: "When he destroys form, adhering to informalist structures, Fejzić does not нарушает the purity of poetics. In those moments, the moment of a hallucinatory world is included, which transcends bizarre-real hours colored by rare indifference, and the abstract moment simply appears as a radicalization of the figurative.

Recognizing all the masterful qualities of such an approach to the art of multi-originals, it does not take much knowledge and read philosophical treatises to feel the energy with which each work evokes tension in the consumer, ritually processing all that we have rejected, for the sake of false idols... believing that in such a persecution of new imposed dark icons, the foreign body will be submerged in artistic spaces, and the myth of reason will triumph in the magnificent suffering of all our temples."

Danis Fejzić graduated from the Academy of Fine Arts in Sarajevo in 2001 (in the class of Prof. Dževad Hozo). He received his Master's degree at the same academy in 2011 (in the class of Prof. Dževad Hozo). He has exhibited solo multiple times and has participated in numerous exhibitions at home and abroad. He is employed at the Academy of Fine Arts in Sarajevo, Department of Graphics, according to the statement.
