Ukrainians claim: Russia will test a powerful missile tonight, its range is over 10,000 km

(Patria) - Russia intends to conduct a "training-combat" launch of the RS-24 intercontinental ballistic missile from the "Yars" complex on the night of May 18-19, 2025, UNN reported, citing the Main Intelligence Directorate of Ukraine (GUR).

"With the aim of demonstrative pressure and intimidation of Ukraine, as well as EU and NATO member states, the aggressor state Russia plans to conduct a 'training-combat' launch of the RS-24 intercontinental ballistic missile from the 'Yars' complex on the night of May 18-19, 2025", the report states.

According to GUR information, the launch of the missile equipped with training warheads from a mobile ground complex has been ordered for the crew of the 433rd regiment of the 42nd division of the 31st army of the Strategic Missile Forces of Russia. The launch site is an area near the village of Svobodni, Sverdlovsk Oblast in Russia.

The range of the mentioned three-stage missile is over 10 thousand kilometers.
