(Patria) - The barrels of Russian cannons aimed at Ukrainian positions in Bakhmut are not getting a chance to cool down. But the question is how much longer they can attack with this intensity.
Russians are running out of artillery ammunition, according to British intelligence, so they are increasingly resorting to street fighting.
The head of the notorious Russian mercenaries, Yevgeny Prigozhin, also complains of a shortage of weapons. He claims that if the Wagner group is forced to withdraw, the entire front line will collapse, the Luhansk region will fall, and then Crimea.
- If the Wagner group withdraws now, events will unfold as follows: the front line will collapse to the borders of Russia, and perhaps beyond.
The situation will be bad for all military formations defending Russian interests - said Yevgeny Prigozhin, founder of the Russian mercenary unit Wagner.
In its latest report, the Institute for the Study of War states that Russian forces have secured a sufficient advantage to execute a turn towards certain parts of Bakhmut, but have not yet forced Ukrainian forces to withdraw and will likely not be able to encircle the city anytime soon.
Russian shells also fell on Kupyansk and the Kherson region, where a woman and two children were killed. Regardless of the danger, some residents do not want to leave their homes on the front line.
