Ukraine claims Russia is not withdrawing, air raid sirens sound in Kyiv

(Patria) - It is the 35th day of Russian aggression against Ukraine.

The Ukrainian General Staff of the Armed Forces this morning provided more information on its earlier claims that Russia is only rotating individual units, not withdrawing soldiers as promised.

Recall, during yesterday's peace talks held in Turkey, Russian negotiators promised to reduce some military actions, but the Ukrainian military claims that Russian forces continue to carry out full-scale armed aggression against the country.

In a report published at 6 a.m. local time by the Ukrainian Ministry of Defence, it states that the Russians only moved units from one area to another and formed new units.

They add that in the temporarily occupied territories of Zaporizhzhia and Kherson, Russian troops continue to commit illegal acts against the local population and loot homes and apartments of local residents, detaining pro-Ukrainian activists and government officials in Ukraine.

In the temporarily occupied territory of the Luhansk region, Ukrainian military leaders believe that the occupation authorities plan to hold another wave of mobilization from April 1 and that such efforts may be made in the recently occupied areas of the region.

The report further claims that Russia has problems with personnel units and that soldiers of a tank division are seeking termination of contracts they signed when they headed for Ukraine.

Air raid sirens have just sounded in Kyiv, and residents have been called to take shelter if they are not already in shelters.
