Ukraine launched an attack in the Kursk region

(Patria) - The Ukrainian army announced that it launched an attack in several directions in the Kursk region of Russia.

Andriy Kovalenko, head of the Center for Countering Disinformation under the Security Council of Ukraine, confirmed on social media that Ukrainian defense forces launched an attack in the Kursk region of Russia.

“Russians in the Kursk region are very concerned because they are being attacked from several directions and this was a surprise for them. Our defense forces are in action,” Kovalenko stated.

The head of the office of the Ukrainian president, Andriy Yermak, also confirmed the attack by Ukrainian forces in Kursk on social media:

“We have good news from the Kursk region. Russia will get what it deserves”.

The Kursk region is a federal subject in western Russia.
