Buried heroine Beganović: She searched for her murdered sons' bones for 23 years

Nazija Beganović (71), whose six sons and husband were killed during the aggression against Bosnia and Herzegovina, was buried today at the Durakovići cemetery near Sapna, close to Tuzla, reports the news agency Patria.

This mother, a heroine as she was called, found the remains of two of her murdered sons, while the bones of her four other children are still in some mass grave, most likely in the area of eastern Bosnia.

The Serbian army killed all male members of the Beganović family, while mother Nazija and her three daughters survived.

The funeral prayer was led by the Mufti of Tuzla, Vahid efendija Fazlović, reports NAP.
