UKC Tuzla: Minor operated on, admitted to intensive care and connected to a ventilator

(Patria) - This morning around 10:30 AM, the Police Administration of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Tuzla Canton received a report that a minor, in the Tuzla settlement of Kreka, near the elementary school, inflicted bodily harm with a cold weapon on another minor, after which the injured party was transported to the Public Health Institution University Clinical Center Tuzla.

The University Clinical Center Tuzla has just released information about the condition of the injured and operated child.

"Patient with initials K.A., born in 2008, has been hospitalized at the Clinic for Anesthesiology and Resuscitation of the University Clinical Center Tuzla, and an operative procedure has been performed. The patient is in the Intensive Care Unit of the Clinic for Anesthesiology and Resuscitation, on a mechanical ventilator," stated Ersija Aščerić Mujedinović, spokesperson for the University Clinical Center Tuzla.

According to an earlier statement from the Tuzla Canton police, the minors are not students of Kreka Elementary School.

The minor attacker has been detained at the premises of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Tuzla Canton.
