UIO: Indirect tax revenue collected in June amounted to 760 million KM

(Patria) - Indirect tax revenues in the first six months of 2021 amounted to 3 billion and 855 million KM, an increase of 413 million KM or 35.28% compared to the same period in 2020, when they amounted to 3 billion and 442 million KM.

Indirect tax revenues are also higher compared to the same period in 2019, when a total of 3 billion and 810 million KM was collected.

In June 2021 alone, 760 million KM of indirect taxes were collected, which is 198 million KM more than in June 2020.

After the Indirect Taxation Authority of Bosnia and Herzegovina (UIO) refunded businesses entitled to refunds in the amount of 716 million KM, net collected revenues distributed to beneficiaries in the first six months of 2021 were 3 billion and 139 million KM, an increase of 329 million KM compared to the revenues received by beneficiaries from the Single Account in the same period of 2020. An amount of 382 million KM was allocated for financing state institutions in the first six months of 2021.

In addition to distributed revenues, and based on the special toll for highway construction and the construction and reconstruction of other roads (0.25 KM), the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina received an additional 96.6 million KM, Republika Srpska 63.8 million KM, and Brčko District 3.3 million KM. The difference represents a reserve in a special toll account of 0.25 KM.
