ITA publishes procurement plan: Citizens pay 70,000 KM for inspectors' toilet paper

The Indirect Taxation Authority of Bosnia and Herzegovina recently adopted the Public Procurement Plan for 2015, which was made in accordance with the needs and budget of this institution and the Decision of the Council of Ministers of BiH on approving the project of procurement and construction of facilities for regional centers and the Central Office of the ITA and the construction and reconstruction of border crossings, reports the Patria news agency.

It is precisely on border crossings, their construction and reconstruction, that the highest individual sums of money are planned to be spent. Thus, for the construction of the Bosanska Gradiška border crossing, i.e., the second phase, 12,800,000 KM is planned, for the construction of the Ivanjica border crossing 1,100,000 KM, and for the construction of the Gorica border crossing 1,090,000 KM.

512,800 KM each is planned for the reconstruction of border crossings and equipping the facility of the ITA Regional Center in Tuzla. When it comes to equipment and goods necessary for the functioning of the ITA, larger amounts of money are planned for the procurement of heating oil (427,000 KM), official uniforms (725,000 KM), printing of excise stamps (2,900,000 KM), procurement of computer equipment (373,505 KM), copiers (123,930 KM), software (207,693 KM)…

In addition, an expenditure of 68,000 KM is planned for hygiene materials (hygiene products and toilet paper and paper towels), while 5,999 KM each is allocated for the procurement of firewood, pallets, cardboard boxes, work coats and footwear, and the same amount is also planned for protocol gifts.

The fact that the ITA left nothing to chance is also evidenced by the item regarding the contract for ironing and washing tablecloths, for which the ITA will pay 1,200 KM!

Tens of thousands of marks are also allocated for the procurement of parts and maintenance services for motor vehicles, servicing of boilers, elevators, maintenance of air conditioning systems…

The ITA also accounted for the maintenance of stop barriers in front of their offices. Thus, for their maintenance in Banja Luka, 8,000 KM is planned.

The procurement plan states that the Authority reserves the right to change the type of procedure and the estimated value of the public procurement. Also, the Public Procurement Plan is subject to change.
