(Patria) - Police officers of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Sarajevo Canton, at several locations, carried out searches and detained several suspects.
This is an investigation against an organized criminal group suspected of illegal international trafficking of narcotic drugs (heroin, cocaine, marijuana, and narcotic mixtures), as well as illegal trafficking of weapons and military equipment.
Information and evidence obtained by decrypting the "Sky" and "ANOM" applications were used in this case.
"According to the collected evidence, the suspects have been engaged in international smuggling, concealment, and placement on the illegal drug market of large quantities of narcotics for a longer period, since 2019.
More information will be available after the searches, detentions, and arrests are completed," announced the Prosecutor's Office of BiH.
