Police officers of the Federal Police Administration, after a months-long investigation, today under the supervision of the Cantonal Prosecutor's Office of Sarajevo Canton, carried out an operational action codenamed „Vog“ in the area of Sarajevo Canton.
As part of the said action, and by orders of the Cantonal Court in Sarajevo, searches were conducted at nine locations in the Sarajevo area, and 11 persons from Sarajevo were deprived of liberty, who are linked to the criminal offense of ”Unauthorized production and trafficking of narcotic drugs” under Article 238, paragraph 2 of the Criminal Code of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
During the searches, a certain amount of money, firearms, an unknown substance resembling narcotic drugs in appearance, several mobile phones and SIM cards, and other items related to the aforementioned criminal offenses were found and seized.
The persons deprived of liberty have been brought to the official premises of the Federal Police Administration for criminal processing, after which they will be handed over within the legal deadline, along with a Report on the committed criminal offense, to the further jurisdiction of the Cantonal Prosecutor's Office of Sarajevo Canton.
