Arrestees in Treska Operation at KS Prosecutor's Office, Including Two Women

Thirteen individuals arrested in the Treska operation by the FUP, with assistance from the MUP KS, have been handed over to the jurisdiction of the KS Prosecutor's Office, reports Patria News Agency.

After their interrogation by the acting prosecutor, a decision will be made on further measures. Among the 13 arrested are two women.

The arrested are suspected of the criminal offenses of unauthorized production and trafficking of narcotic drugs and illegal possession of weapons.

Searches were carried out at nine locations in the settlements of Stup, Buča Potok, and Čengić Vila, where drugs and weapons were found. The operation was preceded by a multi-month investigation.

The following individuals were deprived of their liberty: M.T. (1991), E.T (1995), V.J. (1989), V.V. (1991), M.P. (1989), E.M. (1980), F.V. (1978), A.B. (1983), S.P. (1978), E.P. (1974), A.M. (1997), D.H. (1995), and H.B. (1964).

The individuals deprived of their liberty are linked to the criminal offense of "Unauthorized Production and Trafficking of Narcotic Drugs" from Article 238 of the Criminal Code of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina, in that they have been actively engaged in the procurement and trafficking of narcotic drugs in the Sarajevo Canton area and beyond since May 2017.

During the searches, approximately 2.50 kg of a substance resembling the narcotic drug "Amphetamine," approximately 2.00 kg of a substance resembling the narcotic drug "Cannabis Sativa L," a certain amount of firearms, ammunition, one passenger motor vehicle, mobile phones, SIM cards, and other items related to or originating from the aforementioned criminal offense were found and seized.
