Robbers who robbed a gas station in Pelagićevo in 2012 and 2014 arrested

Police officers of the Criminal Police Sector of the Doboj Public Security Center arrested yesterday A.Đ. and K.Đ., both from Pelagićevo, and M.S. from Bijeljina, on suspicion of having committed the criminal offense of robbery, reports the Patria news agency.  

They are suspected of having, in prior agreement, on March 16, 2012, in the place of Đukići, Pelagićevo municipality, committed a robbery against an employee of the "Nestro Petrol" gas station. Around 9 p.m., masked individuals entered the gas station facility and, threatening with a pistol held by M.S. and telescopic metal batons held by the other two robbers, demanded that the employee hand over money. After the employee handed over the money, they fled in an unknown direction.

Undertaking measures and actions to shed light on the aforementioned criminal offense, material and other evidence that could serve in the further criminal proceedings were collected. Among other things, a pistol used in the commission of the said criminal offense was found and seized.

After the criminal investigation, those arrested were handed over today to the jurisdiction of the Doboj District Prosecutor's Office.

Based on collected operational information, material evidence, and the criminal investigation conducted on the aforementioned persons, police officers of the Criminal Police Sector of the Doboj Public Security Center also shed light on the criminal offense of robbery committed on March 19, 2014, against the same employee of the "Nestro Petrol" gas station.

It was determined that the said criminal offense was committed by B.S. from the Pelagićevo municipality area, who, masked, entered the gas station facility and, threatening with an automatic rifle, demanded that the employee hand over money. After stealing the money, the robber fled in a vehicle in an unknown direction.

B.S. is serving a prison sentence based on a final verdict convicting him of the attempted criminal offense of robbery committed against D.M. from Blaževac, Pelagićevo municipality, on October 19, 2015, in front of the bank entrance in Pelagićevo. Following documentation, a report on the committed criminal offense of robbery will be submitted to the Doboj District Prosecutor's Office against B.S., the RS Ministry of Interior announced.
