Suspects arrested for attack on Milan Novitović

(Patria) - Police have arrested two individuals suspected of yesterday's attack on Milan Novitović, acting director of the forestry company "Drina" Srebrenica.

The suspects are two men from Bijeljina and Bosanska Gradiška, who were taken to the criminal investigation unit in the Gradiška Police Department after their arrest.

Searches are underway of residential and other premises used by the suspects.

Recall, Novitović reported yesterday that he was attacked around 2:50 PM on the highway, at the location of Berek near Bosanska Gradiška. In his report, he stated that his car was intercepted by unknown individuals, who then got out of their vehicle and, without saying a word, smashed his car window with a baseball bat.

In the report, he stated that one person smashed his car window with a baseball bat, while another person was armed with a pistol, which they also used to strike the window.

Novitović was not injured in the attack.
