Arrested after 2 years: Duo committed eight thefts in Banja Luka

Police officers of the Banja Luka Police Station - Obilićevo have filed a report with the District Public Prosecutor's Office Banja Luka against M.M. (1993) and M.R. (1992), both from Banja Luka, due to the existence of grounds for suspicion that they committed seven counts of aggravated theft and one count of theft, reports the Patria News Agency.

They are suspected of having, in the period from June 27, 2013, to June 21, 2015, in the settlements of Obilićevo and Starčevica, in the area of the City of Banja Luka, using physical force and suitable tools, forcibly opened vehicles from which they most often stole audio players, batteries, and tools, which they then sold at places where secondary raw materials are purchased. The material damage caused to the victims is around 2,800 KM.

Police officers of the Banja Luka Public Security Center are continuously undertaking measures and activities within their jurisdiction in order to shed light on committed crimes, as well as to prevent future criminal offenses, all with the aim of creating and maintaining a safe environment for people and property, it was announced from the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the RS.
