Man and woman arrested, committed multiple thefts, also stole copper cable from tram line construction site

(Patria) - Police officers of the Criminal Police Department of the Ilidža Police Administration arrested M.K. (born 1994) from Trnovo and M.K. (born 2001) from Ilidža, due to the existence of grounds for suspicion that they committed multiple counts of aggravated theft in the Ilidža area, for whom an operational search had been issued.

The two are accused of having committed aggravated thefts from several cars in the Plandište settlement, from a weekend house in the Zenik settlement, from houses in the Otes settlement, and of stealing a power copper cable from the tram line construction site on the section from Sokolović Kolonija to Hrasnica during the past period. During the search of the apartment and vehicles used by the suspects, items were found for which there are grounds for suspicion that they originate from criminal offenses, primarily construction tools, materials, and various machines, as well as other items suspected of being stolen and items used as tools for committing these criminal offenses.

The suspects are in the official premises of the Directorate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Sarajevo Canton Police for criminal processing.
