Young man and woman arrested for drug dealing, more than a kilogram of speed found

Based on an order from the Municipal Court in Sarajevo, police officers from the Department for Combating Drug Abuse of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Sarajevo Canton conducted a search on Tuesday of an apartment in Džemala Bijedića Street, Novo Sarajevo municipality, used by Š.B., born in 1979 in Sarajevo, and F.S., born in 1987 in Kakanj, residing in Sarajevo, where drugs were found, reports the Bosnian news agency Patria.

- From Š.B., 1,455 grams of a white substance resembling the drug amphetamine sulfate/speed, a digital scale, and 2 grinders were seized.

The prosecutor of the Cantonal Prosecutor's Office in Sarajevo was informed. Š.B. was deprived of liberty on suspicion of having committed the criminal offenses of unauthorized production and trafficking of narcotic drugs and possession and enabling the use of narcotic drugs. F.S. was deprived of liberty on suspicion of having committed the criminal offense of unauthorized production and trafficking of narcotic drugs. The persons deprived of liberty were handed over to the Detention Unit for Persons Deprived of Liberty of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Sarajevo Canton. After the completion of the criminal investigation, they will be handed over today, along with a report on the committed criminal offenses, to the jurisdiction of the Cantonal Prosecutor's Office in Sarajevo.
