SARAJEVO, (Patria) - Arrested Minister of Human Rights and Refugees Miloš Lučić is suspected of using his official card to pay for private services.
He is also suspected of taking money for fictitious trips, as well as using an official car for private purposes.
Drugs were smuggled across state borders in the official vehicle of the Directorate for Coordination of Police Bodies of BiH, which was an integral part of the "escort" of the Minister of Human Rights and Refugees Miloš Lučić. This is, in short, the "operational knowledge of police agencies gathered during a multi-month investigation by the BiH Prosecutor's Office, within which the minister's bodyguard Miloš Nikolić was arrested and detained on April 21 this year," writes Istraga.ba

As announced by the BiH Prosecutor's Office, simultaneously with the arrest, searches of office premises and the suspect's place of residence, as well as other facilities, are being conducted in order to find evidence of committed criminal offenses.
Suspect Lučić is under investigation by the BiH Prosecutor's Office and is suspected of the criminal offense of abuse of office or authority, related to several corrupt criminal offenses, which caused damage to the BiH budget funds, and resulted in illegal property gain for the suspect and persons close to and associated with him.
The conducted investigation has gathered evidence that the suspect committed gross abuses in the area of spending funds intended for representation, illegally serviced vehicles with unauthorized persons, committed abuses in employment, as well as a number of other illegalities covered by the investigation.
The prosecutor and investigator of the BiH Prosecutor's Office are coordinating the activities of police bodies and determining further investigative activities to be undertaken.
The suspect will be handed over to the acting prosecutor within the legal deadline, accompanied by SIPA, who will make a decision on further activities after questioning the suspect.
