Smugglers arrested, suspected in the deaths of little Aylan and 11 others

Turkish police have arrested four suspected human smugglers, whose actions led to the deaths of 12 refugees, BBC reports. Among them is 3-year-old boy Aylan whose body the sea washed ashore and whose image yesterday horrified the world and testified to the death of humanity, reports the Patria News Agency.

Let us recall, the little boy was part of a group of refugees trying to reach Europe, but he ended up washed ashore on the Turkish coast. Besides him, his brother and mother drowned. They were seeking asylum in Canada but failed to obtain it. His sad fate has shamed world and European powers, writes Index.
