Two more people arrested on suspicion of aiding Sejfović's escape

Two more people have been arrested in the Zenica-Doboj Canton on suspicion of aiding the escape of Amel Sejfović, who escaped from the Sarajevo Penal Correctional Facility.

After criminal processing at the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Sarajevo Canton, the arrested individuals will be handed over to the jurisdiction of the Sarajevo Canton Prosecutor's Office.

This morning, four prison guards from the Sarajevo prison were apprehended on suspicion of helping Sejfović escape.

Sejfović was among a group accused of robbing the Raiffeisen bank in the Sarajevo settlement of Ilidža, during which a cyclist was also killed. He escaped from prison on Sunday, threatening with a weapon, writes NAP.
