Three men arrested for multiple aggravated thefts, causing material damage exceeding 200,000 KM

(Patria) - Police officers of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Sarajevo Canton, under the supervision of the Sarajevo Canton Prosecutor's Office, and in cooperation with the Federal Police Administration, carried out an operational action today aimed at shedding light on multiple aggravated theft criminal offenses in the Sarajevo Canton area.

Three men were deprived of their liberty: M.Đ. (1986) from Sarajevo, E.Š. (1980) from Sarajevo, and A.B. (1977) from Doboj, on grounds of suspicion that they committed multiple aggravated theft criminal offenses.

This group of men has, in the past period, committed several aggravated thefts to the detriment of legal and natural persons in the Sarajevo Canton area, as well as to the detriment of one natural person in Jablanica and one legal entity in Konjic, causing material damage exceeding 200 thousand KM.

Searches conducted at several locations in the Sarajevo Canton area resulted in the discovery and seizure of items suspected to be proceeds from the commission of criminal offenses.

The arrested individuals are currently undergoing criminal processing at the official premises of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Sarajevo Canton Police Administration.
