Fraudster Arrested in Sarajevo: She Falsely Represented Herself and Took Money for Employment

Police officers from the Property Crimes Department of the Ministry of Interior of the Sarajevo Canton deprived O.A., born in 1977 in Sarajevo, where she resides, of her liberty due to the existence of grounds for suspicion that she committed the criminal offenses of fraud and false representation, thereby obtaining material gain, writes the Bosnian news agency Patria.

In the past period, she took a certain sum of money from several individuals, promising them employment. Based on a warrant from the Municipal Court in Sarajevo, a search was conducted of the apartment that O.A. uses in the area of the municipality of Novi Grad Sarajevo. On that occasion, items related to the commission of the aforementioned criminal offenses were found and seized.

The prosecutor of the Cantonal Prosecutor's Office in Sarajevo was informed, and O.A. was handed over to the Department for Detention of Persons Deprived of Liberty of the Ministry of Interior of the Sarajevo Canton. Police officers continue their work on investigating and documenting her criminal activities.
