At the order of the Prosecutor's Office of Bosnia and Herzegovina, early this morning one person was deprived of liberty, suspected of war crimes against victims of Bosniak and Croatian ethnicity, in the area of Glamoč in 1992, the Prosecutor's Office of BiH reports, as carried by the Patria news agency.
Acting on the order of the Prosecutor's Office of BiH, police officers of the State Investigation and Protection Agency (SIPA) this morning (September 10, 2015) in the area of Banja Luka municipality deprived of liberty a person with initials S.B. (born 1956) on suspicion of war crimes.
The person with initials S.B. was deprived of liberty due to reasonable suspicion that he committed the criminal offense under Article 173, paragraph (1) of the Criminal Code of BiH, "War crimes against the civilian population," in the area of Glamoč municipality during 1992, in conjunction with Articles 29 and 180 of the Criminal Code of BiH.
The deprived person will be brought to the official premises of SIPA, where a criminal investigation will be conducted, after which he will be handed over to the Prosecutor's Office of BiH for further proceedings, SIPA announced.
