RS Tax Inspector Arrested for Soliciting and Accepting Bribes

Police officers of the Administration for Organized and Serious Crime of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Srpska, in cooperation with the Public Security Center Prijedor, arrested LJ.P. from Kozarska Dubica, an inspector of the Tax Administration of the Republic of Srpska, last night in Kozarska Dubica on suspicion of committing the criminal offense of "Accepting Bribes", reports the Patria agency.

The suspect solicited and accepted a bribe from a sole proprietor for the omission of an official act.

A criminal investigation is currently underway on the arrested person, and during the day, along with a report on the committed criminal offense, she will be handed over to the jurisdiction of the Special Department of the Republican Prosecutor's Office for Combating Corruption, Organized and Most Serious Forms of Economic Crime.

The Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Srpska thanks the citizens who trusted and reported their findings to the police.
