Two men arrested, heroin and money found

(Patria) - Police officers of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Sarajevo Canton, under the supervision of the prosecutor of the Cantonal Prosecutor's Office of Sarajevo Canton, carried out an operational action codenamed "Zaza" with the aim of documenting the unauthorized trafficking of narcotic drugs.

During the searches, more than 1,300 grams of a brown powdery substance resembling the narcotic drug heroin, two digital scales, a certain amount of cash in EUR and BAM, and other items of interest to the investigation were found and seized.

M.M. (1959) and A.M. (1983), both from Sarajevo, were deprived of their liberty due to the existence of grounds for suspicion that they committed the criminal offense of Unauthorized Production and Trafficking of Narcotic Drugs.

After criminal processing, the suspects will be handed over to the further jurisdiction of the Cantonal Prosecutor's Office of Sarajevo Canton.
