The Higher Court in Belgrade ordered pre-trial detention for up to 30 days for the editor of "Tabloid", Milan Malenović (52), who is suspected of sending threats to the Prime Minister of Serbia, Aleksandar Vučić, and some ministers via social networks, while Belgrade lawyer Dejan Krstić (44), suspected of the same criminal offense, was released to defend himself, reports the Patria News Agency.
They were arrested in separate police operations. As Tanjug was told by the prosecution, Malenović was ordered into custody due to circumstances indicating that he might repeat the criminal offense.
The other suspect, Krstić, was arrested, heard at the Prosecutor's Office for High-Tech Crime of the Higher Public Prosecutor's Office in Belgrade, which proposed that he be ordered into custody, but the judge for the preliminary proceedings rejected this proposal, his lawyer Dragan Palibrk told Tanjug.
