
(Patria) - The Organized and Serious Crime Directorate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Republika Srpska, under the supervision of the District Public Prosecutor's Office in East Sarajevo, is conducting an operational action codenamed „Lotika“ in the area of the municipalities of Višegrad and Rogatica, aimed at dismantling an organized criminal group involved in the illegal production and trade of explosive devices and firearms, the MUP RS announced.
"During these activities, searches were carried out at two locations in the area of Rogatica and one in Višegrad, and a person identified as B.G. was deprived of liberty, suspected of committing the criminal offense of „Illegal production and trade of weapons or explosive materials“. During the searches, approximately 2 kg of various explosives, several pieces of detonators, one MRUD directional fragmentation mine, several pieces of ammunition of various calibers, several SIM cards and mobile phones were found and seized," the MUP RS announced.
The criminal processing of the person deprived of liberty is underway. According to unofficial media reports, the person is a priest of the Serbian Orthodox Church with a diocese in Višegrad.
