
Federal police arrested a police officer from the Travnik Police Administration on Thursday on suspicion of selling a handheld radio station to a criminal group from Kiseljak, thus directly endangering the safety and lives of colleagues, reports the BiH news agency Patria (NAP).
Federal police arrested a police officer identified as F. K. from Kiseljak, employed by the Travnik Police Administration, on suspicion that in February 2008, he abused his official position and sold a "Motorola" handheld radio station to a criminal group from Kiseljak, thus directly endangering the safety and lives of police officers and the secrecy of planned and implemented police operations in this canton for the past seven years.
This police officer is suspected of providing direct assistance to the same criminal group during their escape and hiding in 2010 after committing a criminal offense, again using his authority as a police officer.
Searches are underway at several locations, after which the police officer will be processed and handed over to the Cantonal Prosecutor's Office of Travnik for further proceedings, it was announced from the FUP, reports Patria.
