Suspect arrested for murder of Adnan Salčin

One person suspected of yesterday's murder in Sarajevo's Mojmilo neighborhood has been arrested, confirmed for Patria agency from the Sarajevo Canton Ministry of Interior.

Recall, yesterday at 16:08 hours, Adnan Salčin, son of war commander Ramiz Salčin, was killed at the intersection of Hermana Gmajnera and X transverzala streets, near the SOS Children's Village in Mojmilo by an unknown person. As the victim's girlfriend told Patria yesterday, another car stopped next to his and then two bullets were fired at the unfortunate young man. It is reportedly a dark blue Golf 3.

Upon arriving at the scene, police officers found a stopped passenger motor vehicle of the Lancia brand, with Italian license plates, in which the person S.A., born in 1989 in Sarajevo, where he also resides, was found in the driver's seat, showing no signs of life.

Doctors from the Sarajevo Canton Emergency Medical Service confirmed his death. An investigation was conducted by the prosecutor of the Cantonal Prosecutor's Office in Sarajevo, police officers of the Sarajevo Canton Ministry of Interior, and an authorized forensic medical expert. The body of the deceased was transported by the KJKP Pokop vehicle to the Bare morgue, where an autopsy will be performed at the prosecutor's order.
