Last year, on March 17, elderly man Salih Babaluk was brutally killed in the village of Gomionica, Kiseljak municipality, and as Patria learns, one person suspected of this murder was arrested this morning, reports the Patria news agency.
Let us recall, this criminal act was committed in the family home of Salih Babaluk (born 1937) and his wife Hajrija (born 1940), when three masked individuals armed with a rifle tied up the couple and inflicted injuries to their heads. As a result of these injuries, Salih died at the scene, and the robbers stole approximately 65,000 KM.
The murderer, i.e., one of the two wanted robbers, appears to have finally been found, but the spokesperson of the Ministry of Interior of the Central Bosnia Canton, Rusmir Prohan, did not want to confirm this information.
- We had certain arrests this morning, but I cannot confirm that it is the suspect for that act. One person was arrested. We will have more information tomorrow morning – Prohan said.
Incidentally, members of the Criminal Police Sector of the Ministry of Interior of the Central Bosnia Canton (MUP SBK) have been intensively searching for the remaining two robbers since March 17, 2014. We recall that after two and a half months of intensive investigation last year, one of the total of three robbers was discovered, namely S. P. (30) from Kakanj.
