Suspect arrested for shooting at BMW, two rifles, a bomb and ammunition found

Members of the MUP KS arrested L.Đ., born in 1994, who this morning around 6:25 in Sumbula Avde street shot at a BMW X5 in which I.A. and M.M. were located, who sustained minor bodily injuries from glass fragments, writes the Bosnian news agency Patria.

Irfan Nefić, spokesperson for the MUP KS, said that thanks to citizens they soon found the perpetrator of this criminal offense.

- During investigative actions in the yard of the house used by this person, one automatic rifle, one hunting rifle, the so-called kratež, one hand grenade and a certain amount of ammunition were found. Also, a search was conducted of the apartment used by one of the suspects and on that occasion one balaclava and a smaller amount of ammunition were found - said Nefić.

He also said that the MUP KS is searching for two more persons, L.A. born in 1993 and Č.A. born in 1989, who can be linked to the commission of this criminal offense. Nefić could not speak about the motives of the attack.

- Police officers are working on the complete documentation of this criminal offense and the finding of these two persons who are on the run. All three persons are recorded multiple times in our operational records, and they also have extracts from criminal records showing they have been convicted for certain criminal offenses - said Nefić.

During this shooting, a random passerby was injured and placed at the UKCS.

SHOOTING IN CIGLANE

This morning in Sarajevo, another shooting occurred in Merhemića trg street, where M.M. was injured, who was diagnosed with serious bodily injuries to the right leg and was kept for hospital treatment. The attacker H.A. is still being sought.
