Arrested at Izačić Border Crossing for War Crimes

Acting on the request of the State Investigation and Protection Agency (SIPA), and based on the order of the BiH Prosecutor's Office, police officers of the BiH Border Police yesterday at the Izačić border crossing arrested a person with initials S.D. (1963), who was handed over to SIPA police officers on the same day, reports the Patria News Agency.

This is a continuation of activities within the war crimes case in the area of Cazin municipality. The person with initials S.D. was arrested due to the existence of grounds for suspicion that they committed the criminal offense of war crimes against the civilian population.

The arrested person was taken to the official premises of SIPA, where criminal processing was carried out, after which this morning (July 20, 2015) they were handed over to the BiH Prosecutor's Office for further proceedings.
