(Patria) - The EUFOR mission in Bosnia and Herzegovina informed the Sarajevo Canton Police today that they had received a telephone threat from an unknown person stating they would "fire a rocket in the direction of Butmir Base" due to the engagement of EUFOR helicopters, which were conducting a scheduled exercise during a certain period last night.
Taking measures and actions within their jurisdiction, under the supervision of the Cantonal Prosecutor's Office of Sarajevo Canton and with technical assistance from the Intelligence and Security Agency of Bosnia and Herzegovina, police officers of the Police Administration of the Ministry of Interior of Sarajevo Canton identified, located, and deprived of liberty a person linked to the criminal offense under Article 183 of the Criminal Code of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina (Endangering Security), namely N.M., born in 1978 in Sarajevo.
He is currently being processed in the official premises of the Police Administration of the Ministry of Interior of Sarajevo Canton.
