One of the most popular MMA fighters arrested

SARAJEVO, (Patria) - One of the most popular MMA fighters of today, Jon "Bones" Jones has been arrested in Albuquerque.

According to American media, Jones was arrested for irresponsible handling of a firearm and drunk driving.

The UFC light heavyweight champion was detained at one in the morning local time, but was soon released.

This is not the first time he has had problems with law enforcement. Five years ago, he was arrested for causing a car accident while drunk and fleeing the scene, and a pregnant woman was injured in the crash.

Before that, in 2012, he was also arrested for drunk driving.

Jon Jones is 32 years old, and in his professional career, he has recorded 28 wins and one loss (disqualification due to illegal strikes).
