Police officers responsible for border surveillance arrested a 39-year-old Italian and two Albanians for illegally crossing the border and brought them in for criminal investigation at the Vrgorac Police Station.
The Italian promised the Albanians that he would transport them from Albania to Italy for money and help them illegally cross the border between Bosnia and Herzegovina and Croatia.
The Italian was arrested and faces criminal charges for aiding illegal entry, transit, and stay in Croatia, while the two Albanians were expelled from Croatia and returned to BiH, from where they entered Croatia.
