Third suspect arrested for bank robbery and murder of cyclist in Ilidža

This morning, Arif Hajradinović, one of the suspects in the robbery of a Raiffeisen bank branch in Ilidža on November 5, 2015, was arrested in the Ilijaš area. During the pursuit, cyclist Kemal Bašić was killed in the Stojčevac area, and Hajradinović is accused of this crime, reports the BH news agency Patria.

Hajradinović was taken to the premises of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Sarajevo Canton, where he will be questioned in the presence of his lawyer.

Another suspect, Anel Hajrović, was arrested on November 7, 2015, in Croatia, based on an international arrest warrant issued by the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Serbia, which is seeking him for murder. His extradition to the judicial authorities in Bosnia and Herzegovina is expected.

Previously, detention was ordered for Amel Sejfović, the third suspect in this robbery.

The robbers managed to take about 200,000 KM from the bank, and they carried out the robbery armed with automatic rifles and bulletproof vests, which they discarded while fleeing.

On Friday, members of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Sarajevo Canton, while searching the Igman area on the slopes of the mountain, found and seized automatic firearms, bulletproof vests, and clothing items that were most likely used in the commission of the said criminal offense, for necessary expert examination and use during the main trial.
