Drug dealer arrested in Sarajevo: Half a kilo of marijuana seized

On Tuesday at 2:30 PM, police officers from the Department for Combating Narcotic Drug Abuse of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Sarajevo Canton arrested H.A., born in 1987 in Čajniče, residing in Sarajevo, due to the existence of grounds for suspicion that he committed the criminal offense of unauthorized production and trafficking of narcotic drugs, reports the BiH news agency Patria.

During a personal search, as well as a search of the house used by the suspect in Safeta Hadžića street, Novi Grad Sarajevo municipality, the following were found and seized: approximately 470 grams of a herbal substance resembling the narcotic drug marijuana, 20 small packages with a herbal substance resembling the narcotic drug marijuana, one small package with seeds resembling cannabis plant seeds, and one digital scale.

After the completion of the criminal investigation, on 10/14/2015, H.A. will be handed over to the prosecutor of the Cantonal Prosecutor's Office in Sarajevo along with a report on the committed criminal offense.
