(Patria) - A serious violation of the election law in Novi Grad in Republika Srpska, where marked ballots were found, resulted in the suspension of voting.
At the Hozici polling station in the municipality of Novi Grad, two batches of marked ballots for all levels of government were found.
As confirmed to us, members of the electoral board were arrested, following a report by Hasan Rasavac, an observer from the Coalition Država. The Ministry of Internal Affairs of Republika Srpska arrested five individuals from Bosanski Novi, and SIPA has also been informed. These individuals were identified as being connected to irregularities concerning the election procedure, specifically the bringing of a large quantity of filled-out ballots to the polling station.
As we unofficially learned, the marked ballots mostly included votes for Senad Bratić, a candidate for the vice-president of the Bosnian-Herzegovinian entity Republika Srpska.
