Admir Kačević, who shot his father and killed his partner, arrested

The Ministry of Interior of Sarajevo Canton arrested Admir Kačević, suspected of the criminal offenses of murder and attempted murder, committed on July 18 at around 10:30 PM in the catering facility El Paso on Orahovačka Street, reports the Bosnian news agency Patria.

Kačević shot his father Alija Kačević and his partner Sedija Turjačanin with a hunting rifle; Turjačanin died from her injuries on August 9, 2015.

The younger Kačević has been on the run since then, but during a search of an apartment used by S.A. in the Vogošća municipality area yesterday, police found and seized a hunting rifle. In an interview with S.A., it was discovered that the found weapon belonged to K.A., who was on the run.

- S.A., born in 1978 in Bihać, residing in Sarajevo, was arrested on suspicion of committing criminal offenses under Article 346 of the Criminal Code of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina (Aiding the perpetrator after a criminal offense) and Article 52 of the Law on Weapons and Ammunition - the statement said.

Continuing efforts to locate the suspect, police officers from the Criminal Police Sector of the Ministry of Interior of Sarajevo Canton, on September 8, 2015, in a house used by Lj.H. in the Ilidža municipality area, found and deprived of liberty K.A., born in 1982 in Rogatica, residing in Sarajevo, on suspicion of committing criminal offenses under Article 166 and Article 166, in conjunction with Article 28 of the Criminal Code of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina (Murder and Attempted Murder).

During the search of the house, a certain amount of weapons and ammunition was found and seized. The prosecutor of the Cantonal Prosecutor's Office in Sarajevo was informed of the above, and on September 8, 2015, S.A. was handed over to the Cantonal Prosecutor's Office in Sarajevo along with a report on the committed criminal offenses.

Also, after the completion of the criminal investigation, on September 9, 2015, K.A. will be handed over to the competent prosecutor's office along with a report on the committed criminal offenses.
