45-year-old arrested for robbing shops and houses in the Sarajevo area

SARAJEVO, (Patria) -  Police officers of the Police Administration of the Ministry of Interior of Sarajevo Canton, along with a report on criminal acts under Articles 289 and 287 of the Criminal Code of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina (Robbery and Grand Theft), handed over to the further jurisdiction of the prosecutor of the Cantonal Prosecutor's Office in Sarajevo the person deprived of liberty J.A., born in 1973 in Sarajevo, where he also resides. 

During the criminal investigation, it was established that the same individual, in the past period in the area of Sarajevo Canton, committed seven criminal acts of robbery, namely on 29.12.2017 at 19:10 hours in Mula Mustafe Bašeskije Street, Stari Grad Sarajevo municipality, against an employee of the store "CM", on 01.01.2018 at 18:05 hours in Baščaršija Street, Stari Grad Sarajevo municipality, against an employee of the company "Ottoman Group company", branch "Bakal", on 16.01.2018 at 17:25 hours in Zaima Šarca Street, Centar Sarajevo municipality, against an employee of the store "TD Marketi", on 25.01.2018 at 18:30 hours in Ćemaluša Street, Centar Sarajevo municipality, against an employee of the company "Carters", branch "Bakal", on 01.02.2018 at 19:05 hours in Logavina Street, Stari Grad Sarajevo municipality, against an employee of the store "Amko komerc", on 05.02.2018 at 21:55 hours in Ferhadija Street, Stari Grad Sarajevo municipality, against an employee of the sports betting shop "Premier", and on 06.02.2018 at 18:40 hours in Džemala Bijedića Street, Novo Sarajevo municipality, against an employee of the pharmacy "Lupriv".

It was also documented that the same individual committed five criminal acts of grand theft, as well as two attempted grand thefts, namely on 17.12.2016 at a house owned by Č.E. and Č.Z. in Kobilja Glava Street, Vogošća municipality, on 02.04.2017 at a house owned by S.M. in Muje Šejte Street, Vogošća municipality, on 21.04.2017 at a house owned by T.I. in Kobilja Glava Street, Vogošća municipality, on 16.06.2017 at a house owned by Lj.A. in Barica Street, Vogošća municipality, on 21.08.2017 at a house owned by B.A. in Kenana Brkanića Street, Vogošća municipality, on 03.10.2017 at a house owned by M.J. in Orahov Brijeg Street, Vogošća municipality, and on 21.12.2017 at a house owned by Ć.S. in Menjak Street, Vogošća municipality.
