38-year-old arrested in Hadžići, drugs found

(Patria) - Police officers from the Department for Combating Narcotic Drug Abuse, on 07/06/2023, while conducting planned activities, arrested a 38-year-old male, S.Dž., in the area of Hadžići municipality, on suspicion of committing the criminal offense of Unauthorized Production and Trafficking of Narcotic Drugs /Article 238, Paragraph 1 of the Criminal Code of FBiH/.

During a personal search of this man, three (3) PVC packages with dry herbaceous matter resembling the narcotic drug marijuana, and two (2) PVC packages with white matter resembling the narcotic drug speed, as well as a certain amount of cash, were found and confiscated.

Based on the order of the Municipal Court in Sarajevo, a search was conducted of a weekend house in the Ilidža municipality used by the suspect, where one (1) PVC bag sealed with foil, containing dry herbaceous matter resembling the narcotic drug marijuana – with a gross weight of approximately one kilogram, two (2) PVC packages with white matter resembling the narcotic drug speed – with gross weights of approx. 15 grams and eight grams, two (2) bags with dry herbaceous matter resembling the narcotic drug marijuana, with a total gross weight of approx. 40 grams, one PVC package with an unknown white substance, and one digital scale with traces of an unknown substance were found.

The suspected 38-year-old was handed over to the Detention Facility for Detained Persons of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Sarajevo Canton, and after criminal processing, he will be handed over to the competent prosecutor for further proceedings.
